The heavy-duty Rapier® extruded Layflat hose is a Type 3 fire hose particularly for fire brigades and industrial plant protection. The PVC/Nitrile ribbed outer cover provides protection against abrasion and makes for easy cleaning from oil, grease, and soil. The Rapier® hose is available in Red, Blue and Yellow for site specific identification.
The Rapier® hose complies with Australian Standard AS 2792 and Australian Defence Force DEF 5195A. Rapier® is available in diameters of 25mm to 102mm. Usually this hose is supplied in 30m lengths, but longer lengths can be made up to 200m.
