Pressure Gauge Pulsation Dampeners also known as “a snubber” are used to protect pressure gauges or measuring instruments from pressure spikes. The Pulsation Dampener restricts the flow to the gauge meaning that any sudden pressure spikes will be restricted by the orifice and dissipated once they reach the gauge. This enables consistent readings from sensing instruments and serves to extend service life.
