Hose life can be affected by storage conditions so it is important to maintain the best possible conditions to promote hose longevity.
Hoses kept in a coil shape should be stored horizontally and not vertically. If possible, the hoses should be stored in their original package. If the hoses are stored for an extended period, timber or cardboard boxes are ideal. Suitable storage temperature is 10-20°C. Care must be taken to prevent storing above 38°C. Temperatures below 0°C stiffen the hoses and they should be allowed to reach ambient temperature before use. Avoid storing hoses in high or low moisture ratio conditions.
